Jaffar Smith (bka The Real Jaffar, aka J-Drizz) started dancing and acting at the young age of 5. His first big break came when he landed a recurring role on the children’s science show “Bill Nye the Science Guy”. After graduating from high school in 1998, he moved from Washington State to Las Vegas to begin his hip hop/commercial dance training. While teaching and growing his career in San Diego, Jaffar relocated to Los Angeles where he danced with artists such as: Usher, Justin Bieber Brandy, Ashanti, JoJo, Mariah Carey, Omarion. Jaffar also toured with artists such as Mila J, Keyshia Cole, Solange, MC Hammer, and The Cheetah Girls to name a few.

Around 2007 Jaffar was given a simple computer based music production program, Reason 3, by a good friend (Mr. Brent Koki) and things changed forever.

In 2008, after a brief collaboration in the dance scene, Jaffar Smith and Sean Smith sparked a creative connection in producing beats and a unique sound. Fast forward 12yrs. Countless collaborations with artists, creators, dancers and producers, these two’s creative ventures gave birth to IlArteMuseo. A production house for all things creative from the dynamic duo including MarsMurkin (Production) and LaunchPad (artists).

In January of 2020, Jaffar released his debut single and album as an artist. This new venture has Jaffar looking even further into the future with great expectations and new realm to “perform and share his passion for music and entertaining the crowds”!
